The Companion is not a book to be read once and set aside. It is a quiet instrument for listening — kept beside a Sounded Object, opened when there is time to sit with it.
Each GEOWÈ object carries its own Trace, the recorded sound of its Sounding at the atelier in Villach, Austria. The Companion offers a practice for meeting that Trace: a small sequence of guided pages inviting attention toward material, sound, and the space between the two.
There is nothing to complete correctly here. Its prompts return, gently, to the same few questions — what is heard, what is felt, what remains.
