ABOUT GEOWÈ
A maison for sound, objects, inquiry, and the practice of remaining human.
You have found your way to GEOWÈ.
Perhaps you arrived here by way of an object. Perhaps by way of a question you didn't quite know how to ask yet. Either way, you are welcome.
GEOWÈ is the independent research maison of Gina Gadischke, founded in Villach, Austria — a quiet corner of Carinthia, where the work is made slowly, by hand, in the company of very few people at a time.
At its heart sits a single, unhurried question:
How do we remain deeply human, in a world changing faster than we are?
Here, research lives beside sound. Literature beside object. Ancient practice beside emerging technology. Beauty beside inquiry. Nothing here is separated into the categories the modern world prefers — because the question GEOWÈ is asking was never meant to live in only one of them.
THE INQUIRY
How do human beings cultivate coherence, dignity, and peace in an age of accelerated technological transformation?
This question sits quietly beneath everything you will encounter here — in the Movements, in the Editions, in the sound, in the writing.
You will find that GEOWÈ is less interested in making you more efficient, and rather more curious about something else entirely:
What becomes possible, when you become more present?
The work moves between the measurable and the felt. Between what can be studied, and what must first be noticed. It does not offer you conclusions so much as it offers you a slower, more attentive way of arriving at your own.
PRESENCE-BASED SOUND INQUIRY
Sound, as a medium for attention.
Within GEOWÈ, sound is never approached as entertainment, nor performance, nor cure. It is offered instead as a threshold — a brief, held space in which the habitual noise of attention may soften, just enough, for something quieter underneath to become perceptible.
You are not asked to arrive anywhere in particular. You are not asked to perform stillness, or seek an altered state, or feel anything at all beyond what is already true for you in that moment.
Drawing from contemplative traditions, awareness-based methodologies, systems thinking, collective coherence research, and Gina's own doctoral inquiry, the practice explores something quite simple, and quite rare: the relationship between sound and the quality of attention through which you encounter yourself, others, and the larger systems you belong to.
Relaxation may happen. Silence may happen. Or nothing extraordinary may happen at all — and that, too, is the practice working exactly as intended.
The inquiry is simply this:
What do you notice, when you truly listen?
THE MAISON
Research need not live only within institutions. Beauty need not live only within galleries. GEOWÈ takes the shape of a maison quite deliberately — because a maison, unlike most modern categories, is permitted to hold many things at once.
Research, and beauty. Scholarship, and craft. Sound, and silence. Objects, and ideas. Literature, and lived experience.
Within these rooms you might find a handwritten field note resting beside a research paper. An antique object beside a crystal singing bowl. A quiet meditation on artificial intelligence beside a poem written centuries before either of you were born.
Each belongs here for the same reason: each becomes, in its own way, a means of examining what it is to remain human.
GEOWÈ does not exist to produce knowledge for its own sake. It exists to create the conditions for noticing.
OBJECTS & THE ATELIER
Some ideas ask to become material.
Objects have always accompanied us through thresholds. We keep letters. We inherit jewellery. We press flowers between the pages of books we may never open again. We carry stones home from places we will likely never return to. We preserve what our hands once touched, long after the moment itself has passed.
Within the GEOWÈ Atelier, found, antique, natural, and handmade materials are gathered slowly — sourced, considered, and released not in seasons, but in Movements and Editions, each arriving in its own time, in small number, and rarely twice.
Some pieces are discovered. Some are assembled. Some are made entirely by hand. Some are sounded, quietly, within the atelier itself before they ever reach you.
Each is chosen not because you require another possession, but because certain objects become companions to attention — things to keep, to listen with, to remain close to what matters.
GINA GADISCHKE
Founder & Steward of GEOWÈ
GEOWÈ is founded and stewarded by Gina Gadischke — researcher, sound practitioner, writer, and curator, whose work moves between natural medicine, consciousness research, contemplative practice, organisational inquiry, and the cultural conditions of peace.
Her path has unfolded across Colombia, Switzerland, Spain, and Austria — through clinical rooms and contemplative ones, international settings and quiet private spaces, years of formal study and far longer years of independent one.
She is currently completing doctoral research examining coherence and dignity-preserving decision-making in the age of artificial intelligence.
But GEOWÈ was born from something rather more personal than a research question. It grew, slowly, from wondering how one might participate in a world moving at such speed without abandoning the very qualities that make a human life worth protecting.
Attention. Beauty. Dignity. Relationship. Discernment. Peace.
GEOWÈ is her way of keeping that question open — and of inviting you to sit with it, for as long as you'd like.
AN OPEN THRESHOLD
You need not believe anything, before entering GEOWÈ.
You need not become someone different.
You are simply invited to grow curious about the quality of attention with which you are already meeting your own life.
To listen a little longer. To notice what has gone quietly overlooked. To preserve what no technology could ever meaningfully replace. To make beautiful things slowly, and to let them take the time they ask for. To sit with a difficult question, before demanding an answer of it.
And perhaps, to consider — that the future of humanity may not depend only on what our technologies become.
It may depend, in some quiet but essential way, on what we choose to remain.
Welcome to GEOWÈ.

A B O U T T H E P R E - S A L E
Since the very first Movement, invite-only early access has made each release — whether an Edition, a Sound Inquiry, or a Peace Salon — a markedly personal experience for those who follow this work. GEOWÈ is a maison of exactly one person taking care of every detail you encounter here: the sound, the writing, and the object that eventually arrives in your hands.
While growth is a beautiful thing, my intention has always been to remain close to those who choose to receive what I make — forming a quieter kind of connection, built on shared appreciation for the beauty and history each object carries, and the care held within each sound encounter.
For Editions and Movements, early access gives you the time to sit with the story behind a piece before it is offered more widely, and to choose, unhurried, what might belong with you. For Salons and Sound Inquiry, early access means simply this — you are told first, before a date is shared more widely, while seats remain…
Always with care,
Gina
