Before you place an order with me, I ask that you take a moment to read through how orders, payment, shipping, and returns work here at GEOWÈ.

I take as much care in how a piece finds its way to you as I do in making or curating it in the first place. I've laid out these policies in full below, so nothing is left unclear — but if a question ever remains, write to me directly at info@geowe.net before you order. I read every letter myself.

  • Each Tool leaves from my own hands in Villach, Austria. For now, I ship to:

    Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Italy, and the wider European Union.

    If you're further away and would still like to bring a piece home, write to me at hallo@geowe.net. I'll always look into what's possible before saying no.

    Shipments travel via [CONFIRM — e.g. Österreichische Post / DHL], and I choose climate-conscious shipping wherever I can — these objects come from a slow practice, and I'd like their journey to you to reflect that too.

  • Shipping Costs

    Calculated at checkout, based on the following:

    €10 — Austria
    €12 — Germany, Slovenia, Italy
    €16 — the rest of the European Union

    €28 — United Kingdom, Ukraine, Norway, Switzerland

    €49.00 - Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Greenland, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Japan, Maldives, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates

    €99.00 - United States

    Orders of 2kg or more may carry a small additional cost.

    Due to the situation around shipping tariffs in the USA, orders can only be shipped to the USA via DHL or DHL Express.

    *Orders weighing 5kg or more may be subject to additional shipping fees.*

    For large furniture and made-to-order products, shipping costs will be provided via a separate quote. Many of these items require crate delivery due to their size and weight.

    Please note: Free shipping offers do not apply to furniture and made-to-order products. We may occasionally offer free shipping promotions, but these do not apply to items requiring cargo, white glove, or crated delivery.

  • Because each Movement is made or gathered in small batches — hand-worked by me, or sourced with real care — please allow likely 5–10 business days of handling time before your piece is dispatched, in addition to the shipping itself. This doesn't apply to Salons or Encounters, which are held rather than shipped.

    Once your order is on its way, I'll send you a tracking number by email.

  • When you place an order on our website, your payment is securely processed by our third-party billing partner, Stripe. By Gina Gadischke/GEOWÈ does not store or retain any billing or credit card information. Stripe facilitates payments via credit card, debit card, and Apple Pay.

    At this time, we do not accept PayPal, Klarna, or Afterpay.

    For larger, made-to-order peace artifacts, payment is billed via invoice and must be settled through bank transfer via the international banking system.

  • A Tool remains mine until it has safely reached you and you've had the chance to receive it — please let me know within 24 hours of delivery if anything has arrived damaged, under the Damaged or Faulty Items note below.

    On the rare occasion I need to cancel or pause an order, I'll write to you personally and promptly, and any payment made will be returned to you in full.

  • For orders shipped outside the European Union, any customs duties or import fees belong to you as the recipient, set by your own country — these vary too widely for me to estimate in advance, I'm afraid.

  • Everything here is priced and processed in euros (€). If you're purchasing from outside the eurozone, your own bank sets the exchange rate at the time of purchase. By Gina Gadischke/GEOWÈ is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or any additional conversion fees applied by your bank.

  • Once your order has been placed, by Gina Gadischke/GEOWÈ will send you an order confirmation email, followed by a tracking information email once your order has been packaged and dispatched. Please save this information so you can track your package and notify us if any issues arise with delivery — please do check that your address is correct at checkout, as I'm not able to reroute a parcel once it has left me.

  • You're welcome to return an item within 14 days of receiving it, in keeping with EU consumer protection.

    Simply write to hallo@geowe.net with your order number and what you'd like to return, and send the piece back in the condition and packaging it arrived in. Return shipping is your own responsibility, and I'll process your refund within 14 business days of the piece finding its way back to me. The original shipping cost isn't refundable.

  • Because each Tool is either worked by my own hands or a curated find with its own history, small irregularities — a slight variation in stitch, a mark of age — aren't flaws. They're simply what makes the piece itself, and I'll always describe them honestly wherever they matter.

    Made-to-order or bespoke pieces, where I offer them, are final once begun and cannot be returned.

  • You may cancel any order before it's been dispatched — just write to me, and I'll refund you within 14 business days.

    For bespoke pieces, cancellation is only possible before the making has begun; once I've started, a portion of the cost reflects the time already given to it.

  • Please write to me within 24 hours of receiving your order, with a photo of the damage, a photo of the packaging, and your order number — I'll make it right as quickly as I can, with a replacement where possible, or a full refund once the piece is safely back with me.
