Vintage Mother-of-Pearl Nautilus

This vintage nautilus shell has been carefully polished to reveal the mother-of-pearl held beneath its original surface — an iridescent nacre that shifts gently with the light. Its spiral carries the unmistakable architecture of the natural world: repetition, proportion, expansion.
Before leaving the GEOWÈ atelier, the object is sounded by Gina with crystal singing bowls in a private ritual of listening and resonance.
Not altered. Not perfected. Simply encountered through sound.
Each nautilus is singular in tone, marking and form; a found object carrying the beautiful irregularities of its natural and previous life.
An object for a table, a bedside, a collection, or simply somewhere the eye may return to it.
